I do not regret this purchase. My 9 year old daughter received these earrings for Christmas a few days ago and absolutely loved them. She wore some of them. Before giving them to her, I removed the studs on several pairs with my mini tweezers because I thought the length of the earring looked silly. (It was easy to make.) The main part of the earring (minus the dangling part) is silver, but some of the dangling parts are gold. Looks ok for a baby earring. The idea here is that young girls can have fun with baby earrings. It does. My daughter wore them to church and they looked cute for a baby. The earrings came with several pairs of rubber inserts for the back of the earring to make them more comfortable, which I wasn't aware of (so I ordered some separately). They sometimes fall out, but not when wearing earrings.
