Fun for kids and adults

This thing is outrageous. First, it's super compressed into the box it comes in, and you will not be able to get it back in to the box once you inflate it, so set aside a larger box for storage. To inflate it, you either need a powerful air compressor or some other method of pushing air into it like a shop vac or leaf blower. You cannot just blow it up with your mouth, it would take forever. The cheapest option if you don't have anything would be a low cost foot pump like you use to inflate a raft. Like this: https://www.amazon.com/Intex-Giant-Bellows-Foot-Pump/dp/B0007CNJ5YOnce you start inflating it, you realize that the plastic is actually quite thick and will be able to withstand quite a beating. If you have small kids, they can fit almost their whole body in the ball, but older or taller kids will have their feet sticking out, which is great if you have 2 or more of these, you can run around and try to knock each other over. The ball has nice strong handles for your hands and straps for your shoulders, and there is plenty of cushion over your head, which is nice. I am tall and I had a lot of fun running around and bouncing off the ground. My kids enjoyed playing with it with one of them in the ball chasing down the other one. They made up their own games with it and it was a ton of fun. I do want to get another one because 2 of these would be a lot more fun than 1.Overall quality is impressive and I don't have anything negative to say about this. It does take some effort to inflate and deflate for storage but it's a unique toy that should last a long time. There is a repair kit if you do get a hole in it, which would only happen if you went over a sharp rock or large stick. It would be so fun to see 2 full soccer teams playing a game with these. That's a $2600 investment but it would be cool if money wasn't an object.Oh, I do want to mention that this material does well in cold temperatures as well, and you can use this in the snow, but be careful because it's very slippery on snow and the chance of injury is higher, although you are mostly protected so it would hard to get seriously hurt when in the ball.

Pros
  • Promotes creativity and imagination
Cons
  • The ball may be too heavy to carry for extended periods of time
