DIY!: Exterior care

I detail my cars spring and fall and paid a whopping $200 just for the interior work. With these tools, a portable wet/dry vac, and some good cleaners/conditioners, I can do the job myself in a day for a lot less. Who knows? I might even start deep cleaning more than twice a year!

Pros

4 scratch-resistant polishing pads and 1 adhesive backing pad: There are flat, wavy and wool polishing pads. They are also used for all types of waxing, polishing and sealing of paintwork to clean and improve brightness, and to polish car parts. The hook and loop drill adapter is great for merging with the polishing pad to give your car a good brush (line not included).
