Yes, that's right, this premium vertical cable also works with PCIe 4.0 graphics cards. Thanks to Thermal Mike for the tip when building a Thermaltake Halloween gift computer with an RTX 3080. I don't know why Thermaltake doesn't advertise that it works. I couldn't get an RTX 3080, but I could get an RX 6800 XT. And it works without loss of performance and without failures. I also switched my MSI X570 motherboard from Auto mode to PCIe 4.0 mode just to be sure. Just make sure you buy a premium adapter cable. Not the cheapest.
