I have been a Lever 2000 customer for over 20 years. Sometime between 2015 and 2020, Lever 2000 changed their formula to be less "frothy" as they removed what appeared to be a limited stock ingredient. L2k is still good, but not as satisfying when preparing a washcloth in the shower. Found this as an alternative. Apparently the key ingredient is in this product and I've made the switch. All in all, the reason I used the L2k was for the quality and smell. The smell of this Dove product is different, but not very strong and certainly not unpleasant; normal for men's soap. What is important is that the ingredient mentioned above is actually contained in this product and you can therefore lather the washcloth. the satisfaction of the old L2k formula.
