This compound performed moderately well on a Corvette bumper. Please note that you cannot use it with a metal reinforcement screen. it just doesn't stick. This is a very narrow line and it takes a lot of effort to fill the crack. I think a thicker cord burns less and therefore gives a better grip. Adhesion is moderate. You can take it off after you are under the edge. I thought it would be a repair that would quickly fail, but it took a couple of months as I purposely left it to the weather and twisted and flexed just to see what would happen.
