So I ordered this and a few others from another manufacturer just to make sure I was getting something that worked. I was lucky because none of the three adapters featured here worked with ANY USB-C power cable, data cable, or charger I've tried. All three failed. Again, I pretty much assumed that would be the case when I opened the package and saw "Good luck" on the label.
