Review on 💦 TITAN- TTC-SC20: IP55 Waterproof Double Rack Mount Ventilation Cooling Fan with Timer and Speed Controller - 12V DC, 140mm by Adam Matthews

The fridge in my motorhome did not cool well on hot days and always kept me warm when travelling. Last summer I installed some computer fans to solve this problem. I connected them to a simple switch and turned them on as needed. While this helped, I wanted a more permanent solution. This is what prompted me to buy this fan system. I was initially confused about the price and thought I didn't need a controller but bought one because the fans were bigger than the ones I was using and they were waterproof. It turns out I was wrong. The controller in this system is amazing. I like the "Automatic" mode. The temperature sensor monitors the temperature behind the refrigerator and only turns on the fans when necessary. This is the perfect solution to the overheating problem. The fans only run when needed and I don't have to control anything. If I want, I can then choose manual mode and leave the fans on when I know it's going to get hot. However, installation can be tricky, especially if you want the controller to be in your trailer. I'm lucky because my pantry is right next to my fridge. This allowed me to drill through the side panel in the space behind the fridge and install the controller in the pantry. Of course, your decision will depend on your specific trailer layout, but I highly recommend sticking the controller in your trailer. Much more convenient than removing the access panel from the outside of the trailer to adjust the controls. Anyway, connecting the wiring was easy with the DC connector strip on the back of the fridge. Having installed this fan a few weeks ago, I can't comment on the lifespan of this unit. I seem well built and the fans move a lot of air. Hopefully they last many seasons.
