Great RV Fridge Fan

My Norcold RV absorption fridge had trouble maintaining a safe temperature range when the outside temperature was above 80 degrees. After some research I found out that it is not properly ventilated and needs fan assistance to get hot air out the back of the fridge through the roof vent. This titanium fan meets all the requirements perfectly. The build quality appears to be very precise and solid. The motors draw only 0.28A each at high speed and are long life ball bearing motors. The two fans…

Red cable is +, black is -.

I used this fan setting to increase airflow for my fridge on wheels. We live in our RV all the time and find that our fridge struggles to keep our food cold enough for just a few days during the summer months. So I installed these fans to blow air over the condenser coils and can see a monumental 5-6x increase in airflow. This should make a big difference in fridge efficiency at this time of year. It wasn't difficult to set up the controller, I just remembered that the black power wire is…

Top Quality Case Fan Fan

Last summer when I was using my van fridge in 105 degree weather and 90% humidity, I couldn't keep the fridge temperature below 55 degrees. RV fridges are evaporative (except in residential areas), which means the hotter the weather, the less efficient they are. One way to help the fridge is to install fans outside of the RV but inside the fridge vents. I bought two of these and installed one for the air intake and one for the exhaust. Both fans are the same, just set for proper airflow. These…

Read before installing

I took the larger fans and installed them in my 33ft Class C fan behind the fridge on the top shelf just above the coils. I've noticed that some people say they can't tell the airflow direction until the fans are plugged in, but mine was marked with the airflow direction and even the direction of rotation of the fan blades. My only problem was deciding exactly where to place the sensor. I was afraid the best way to do this would be to tie them to bobbins and dangle them between them. Hopefully…

Great solution for a motorhome Fridge

The fridge in my motorhome did not cool well on hot days and always kept me warm when travelling. Last summer I installed some computer fans to solve this problem. I connected them to a simple switch and turned them on as needed. While this helped, I wanted a more permanent solution. This is what prompted me to buy this fan system. I was initially confused about the price and thought I didn't need a controller but bought one because the fans were bigger than the ones I was using and they were…

By far the best version

I installed a 140mm chimney just above the coils in my motorhome. When camping in 90-100+ degrees it was almost impossible to keep the fridge at a safe temperature (42 or below). The temp was over 90 last week and the fridge was over 30. I have a Norcold and leave it on 3 and the exhaust fan on half. During the installation I also took the opportunity to add a styrofoam lined insulation board to the chimney to remove some of the airflow restrictions. As other reviewers have said, this should be

Dual titanium fans are good for case fans

Purchased to increase airflow through RV cooling coils. The guide was good. but not perfect. Two things prevented me from giving 5 stars. 1. They don't indicate the direction of airflow on the node so you have a 50% chance of installing it backwards and not knowing it until you plug it in and test it (yes I was wrong). 2. The most annoying thing is that there are no mounting screws in the kit! Do you think someone will buy it and NOT want to install it? Had to make a trip to the hardware store…

Keeps ice cold in my fridge!

These little fans are the best RV modification I have ever made. I installed them yesterday morning and they've been working ever since. We had a problem when the fridge didn't drop below 55-60 degrees in the summer. That's when most of us set up camp. I did some research and found these fans. The length of the wires is enough for installation, I just left the temperature sensor in the compartment behind the refrigerator. I didn't think too much about the exact placement, as the entire…
