For three years I've wanted to go away from traditional light bulbs and switch to LEDs for my Christmas tree. These lamps are exactly what I need. I usually get a 6-8 foot tall tree. I usually use around 450-700 bulbs. The bulbs I used were 50 filament. I would string them together in skeins of 150 or 200. A string of these LED lamps consists of 200 light bulbs. I got 3 sets. At 100 lights per foot, a 6 foot tree will be adequately lit. Even an 8 foot tree will be more than lit. I like a lot of lights Cons* Cannot connect threads together. I agree as I used to only have 150-200 bulbs wired together anyway.* Any program you set will reset when the power is turned off. However, since they are LEDs, I never have to turn off the power. I worried about the brightness; it is great. Bright enough.
