I have replaced the "awkward" white plastic shelf with this product. I mounted it on glass instead of tile. Installation took less than 15 minutes with no tools required other than a 6 inch torpedo level. The installation was uncomplicated because I didn't follow the manufacturer's instructions. Labeling and installing sticky pads is just plain stupid for the average consumer who doesn't have the manual skills to place the pads within the tolerance required for rack installation. Instead, set up the first pad and then use the stand to place the remaining pads ONE BY TIME. This requires the pads to be screwed to the rack (ONE AT A TIME) but this results in precise placement and eliminates the possibility of removing the pads in the event of an incorrect measurement. Shelves can be removed for easy cleaning. Installed for about ten days with no problems Spacers So if you're careful you can move it once, if you want to put it somewhere else I've bought two and am completely satisfied for now.
