Major upgrade over other inflators!
After suffering with corded and vehicle-powered inflator machines in the past, I sprung for this battery model and WOW what an upgrade! Just like with other cordless tools, this is so convenient and simple to use, you'll never go back to those throwback devices.You can hold the trigger to pump something up manually (we used that method for some sports balls), but for your vehicle the "preset" is the way to go.
Type in the PSI target for your tires, pull the trigger, and it inflates until it reaches that inflation (see video). NOTE: the machine was in different units on arrival, click the "R" button to change it to PSI.A single charge lasted through several sports balls and all 4 tires on my SUV---and they were seriously under their required inflation PSI! This battery inflator takes longer (watch the video) than a gas-station model of course, but it's still a major improvement over other home-use devices.
