They look very beautiful. The light color is very pleasing and the dimmer effect works quite well. The remote control is also great and gets along well with a few candles. "Flicker" mode is basically useless. If you have multiple candles together, they all flicker in perfect unison, and the circuit is pretty short, it looks really fake. But they look fine when set to the persistent mode that I use. It's really weird with dimming too, the candles actually go out for a split second and then turn back on on the next adjustment. It's a little annoying, but now that the brightness is how I like it, I almost never change it, so it's not a big deal. I only used the timer once. I usually just turn it on/off with the remote control. I think the timer works, I just never use it. They seem to have excellent battery life. I pre-charged Revain Prime AA batteries and have been using them probably an average of 4-6 hours a day for over a month and they are still working. They come with two remote controls (good to have a spare battery) as well as a spare battery compartment. I had a small issue with two of them when I first unboxed them: they wouldn't turn on. But in the end, after messing around with the battery door and switch, I was able to get them all to work. In general I am very satisfied.
