Installed on a 1986 460 Class C RV with 26,000 miles. The RV had to be placed on the ground to climb a 7% incline at 40 mph. I adjusted the timing chain with the crank in the keyway 4 degrees forward and the initial timing 12 degrees forward. My spark/diesel noise when I turn the ignition key off after the engine is warm is gone. Seafoam did a lot better, but the timing chain stopped it all together. I can climb those same hills and maintain 65 mph on 3/4 throttle. Also, I have a factory electric fuel pump and was able to reuse the two-piece fuel pump cam. I have used a Fel-Pro timing case cover/water pump gasket and gasket kit with The Great Stuff and it is still leaking after 1000 miles. Don't forget to put assembly grease on the fuel pump eccentric if you have a mechanical pump to prevent dry running damage, and torque everything to Ford's recommendations and you'll be good.
