Review on 🚙 GS Power Upper Windshield Mount LED Light Bar Bracket (Choose from 50, 52 & 54 inch, Straight/Curved) for Chevrolet 1996-2006 Chevy Silverado Avalanche Suburban Tahoe & GMC Sierra Yukon by Maurice Hurd

I know this bracket was for Chevy not 2006 Dodge Ram 1500. But I didn't want to pay 6x the price for it. the only proper mount I could find, I risked $10 and bought it. The test landings looked like they were made for this truck, and as soon as my daughter and I had a day off together, I crashed into her truck. Installation was very easy, I pulled out the door seal and exposed the mounting rails/droppers. They are held in place with torque screws, pulled two straight over the window and found they lined up perfectly with the holes in the bracket. Try installing a pole with these holes. After confirming the location, I drilled holes for the blind nuts. The brackets come with screws, but I prefer blind nuts. Once they were in it was as easy as screwing everything together, the wiring fitted perfectly under the windshield molding, everything looks perfect. Even if used on the wrong car, it's perfect. Very strong metal, decent coverage (yes I dropped the mount on the concrete, didn't notice any chips). I would recommend this mount to anyone, even at twice the price. The only downside is the two mounting holes. not sure what it was for. Eventually I might drill and tap the lightbar myself and put another screw in there, but that'll only be if he's having trouble turning it. Again very impressed with everything about this mount for the price. Saved me a lot of time doing it myself. Daughter is very excited to come here at night lol.
