Review on Sun Mountain Speed Cart GX - Golfing Gear for Optimal Performance by Mike Modesto

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Does not match Golf

This is my first Sun Mountain product. I had three other less expensive wheelbarrows and ended up going with the more expensive brand hoping to get better quality. In Florida I use a push cart 3-4 times a week so the terrain is very flat. My first impression was that this is a very nice, well finished car. After about half a year of use, the non-braking rear wheel broke. The spoke broke in the tire and the hub of that spoke broke in the middle of the wheel. Luckily for me it happened at the end of the round. I called the service, they said they would send a spare wheel. This happened seven days later. I played four rounds in those seven days, but I had to use a $25 per round power cart. So now the car "costs" $100 more. Yes. When other wagons I had wore out, I was often notified so I could just buy a new one and throw the old one away before it broke. The bike shouldn't have broken. A few more little things, all the screws are rusted, which I noticed in the first month. The cart doesn't fold up as easily or compactly as the ones I usually buy from the wholesale warehouse club. It's a bit heavier and the cup holder isn't as good as the cheaper brand. I was hoping Sun Mountain would justify the extra cost, but I'll probably go back to the cheaper brands I have. at least two full years of use c.
