It was helpful to read reviews about how this 16ft footrest is too short so I also ordered a 20" footrest just in case. The 16" was definitely too short so I put on the 20" which was almost too long but still worked. I mounted a 16" onto a 12" bike and it fits great. I suggest buying a Bell Sports 100 adjustable footrest with a screw that securely fixes the desired length. I've done this for another 16" bike and know I can reuse it for other sizes of kids bikes, even adult ones. All footrests have been processed to a high standard.
