Description of ๐Ÿšฒ Wald Universal Kickstand: Sturdy Support for 16-Inch Wheel Bikes

Kickstand is about 7" Inches which will fit for 16โ€ WHEELS. Note:- Kickstands operate on balance. To create that balance, the stand needs to be slightly shorter than the height of the bike where the kickstand attaches.

DIMENSIONS DO NOT match! Quality stand if you can find the right one.

The dimensions given for this product are incorrect. Return is not worth it due to return shipping. I recommend another brand or read some reviews to see what size to order. In my case, the 16" size I ordered would fit a 12" bike. If you put it on a 16 inch bike, it's about 3 inches too short to touch the ground, the bike just falls off, so it's useless.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I really don't like it, everything is fine

Does the job well. VERY well built and strong. The installation took me maybe 2 minutes. I'm including photos because I might have gone up a size, but it's so sturdy it doesn't matter. It stands for "16" wheels, but the bike is very slim. It really is like that. Bike for girls 16 inch shine? by Dick's Sporting Goods. 5 stars and I would buy it again.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some bugs

Too small for its size, please zoom in

The quality of the stand itself is excellent. The problem is the size. I bought a side stand for a 16" kids bike. It was too small and the bike tipped over and it wouldn't get up. I had to add a 1.5" square disc to the base to make it work perfectly. Ask the seller to check the sizing recommendations. A 16" kids bike must be ordered with a 17" or larger kickstand in order for it to function properly.

Great Classic Kickstand

After removing the training wheels from my kid's bike (and this bike didn't have a kickstand), I was looking for a classic center stand. It's surprisingly hard to find. This bike mounts easily to my kid's 16" bike and works great. We've only had it for about a week and it's still quite stiff (for my 5 year old to pick it up with my foot). The spring is very strong so it stays in whatever position you put it in.

Too short for a 16 inch bike. Some tips.

It was helpful to read reviews about how this 16ft footrest is too short so I also ordered a 20" footrest just in case. The 16" was definitely too short so I put on the 20" which was almost too long but still worked. I mounted a 16" onto a 12" bike and it fits great. I suggest buying a Bell Sports 100 adjustable footrest with a screw that securely fixes the desired length. I've done this for another 16" bike and know I can reuse it for other sizes of kids bikes, even adult ones. All footrestsโ€ฆ

Too short. Not like it used to be.

We bought one of these a few years ago for a 20 inch bike and also one for a 16 inch bike and they worked fine so when I bought a side stand for a other 16 inch and 20 inch bike needed the same ones. You are too short. The bike must lean too far for the footpeg to hit the ground and cause a fall. It needs to be an inch or two longer to work. These are standard bikes in 16 inch and 20 inch. Estimated Time Of Arrival. I've compared the new ones to the ones we got from the same list a few yearsโ€ฆ

Does Not Fit Specialized Hot Rock 16 "

Contrary to some other reviews, this product does not fit Hot Rock 16" for two reasons. First, it's too long, the bike stands almost upright, so any incline or bump could tip it over. Second, the attachment mechanism is incompatible. This stand uses a carriage bolt that goes up through the frame rather than a threaded hole to attach a bolt that goes down. Hot Rock has a welded mounting plate, but the space between the frame tubes above is too narrow to fit the bushing onto the footpeg nut (also

Actually, it's suitable for kids bikes with 16 " wheels!

I'm usually too lazy to check everything I buy online, but in this case I make an exception because this stand is great for kids bikes is. with 16" wheels and these are hard to find. My son rides a Schwinn Koen with 16" wheels and like most kids bikes this size it comes without a kickstand because they expect you to use training wheels. Previously my son had a balance bike that he rode and from a tricycle to pedals so he had already learned how to balance and pedal even before he got his bikeโ€ฆ
