Review on 🚲 Wald Universal Kickstand: Sturdy Support for 16-Inch Wheel Bikes by Ikki Martini

Contrary to some other reviews, this product does not fit Hot Rock 16" for two reasons. First, it's too long, the bike stands almost upright, so any incline or bump could tip it over. Second, the attachment mechanism is incompatible. This stand uses a carriage bolt that goes up through the frame rather than a threaded hole to attach a bolt that goes down. Hot Rock has a welded mounting plate, but the space between the frame tubes above is too narrow to fit the bushing onto the footpeg nut (also the bolt is too long for the bushing) and there is no gap. for the crescent key. But if you try to use the included mounting plate, the bolt will come up short due to the mounting plate being welded to the bottom, and even without a washer you can't tighten enough threads to get the bolt past the nut. I'll refrain from doing this for now as it's still better than other coasters I've tried, but I'll return it if I find something that fits properly.
