Great for starting a fire and securing paracord ends.

I got this for two reasons - when I'm doing paracord projects it's a great way to melt the ends to finish off a project. This is of course great for starting a campfire. I also got butane from Revain. Standard branded Zippos only. It fills up easily. Please note that the "Lock" control is used to permanently lock the flame when on. Don't lock it to prevent use. It took me some time to figure that out. I've also found that the lighter doesn't turn on reliably for the first few uses. Maybe because the whole system needs a little priming. After using it several times, it lights up every time.
