It's rare that I give a rating below five stars, but this product has a few flaws that people should be aware of. First, if you're going to use it indoors, it's probably fine. However, I took it outside and used it where I was meeting up with friends and then a very light breeze blew up, knocking it over and nearly destroying my iPad as it fell face down on the sidewalk. The way it's held on the stand made it drop onto the screen hard enough to do real damage. I've been lucky. It only had a few scratches but I feared the worst based on the impact noise. the wind can catch it. Depending on the side your feet are on, this can be devastating. For example, one of the three legs should protrude forward in the same direction as the iPad. Second, the connection where the iPad holder connects to the neck is VERY difficult to tighten, allowing the iPad to slowly tilt and change position. . The hinge is made of soft plastic and seems to break with too much pressure. I found the flexible part to be strong enough to support the weight of my 12 inch iPad. Indoors, using my iPad as a teleprompter for audio work works very well. I would recommend it for light interior work if you take precautions to ensure it doesn't lose balance.
