I was so hesitant to buy these with all the negative reviews but I'm glad I did. Here's my take: I usually wear 22g nose rings so my actual piercing was perfect for her. They don't have teeth to hold the diamond so they don't get caught on your towels - bonus! They don't have many balls at the end to keep them from slipping out of their noses, but I didn't have too many problems! I thought they would fall out a lot more often, but surprisingly they held up pretty well - I've only lost one while wiping my face over the past month. (FYI I am now aware when I wash/wipe my face, blow my nose, take off my mask etc. Probably this also helps my piercing hole which was used for 22g from the start to prevent the Stud slips in, and it's too much for me.) Yes, the packaging looks like you'll only get half of the earrings, but if you count the studs, the product is as described, 40 studs. I had no irritation and I would say I have sensitive skin. The diamond remains brilliant. The real bone part of the nose studs tarnish, but I don't see the tarnish when the stud is in my nose. Overall I like them and would recommend them as a cheap 22g hairpin!
