Very strong and fairly heavy stand. Securely holds my 13" Inspiron and 15" Surface workbook. The top of the stand that the laptop sits on pivots about half an inch to each side. I don't think the design is meant for that. I think the aluminum handle is a bit of a match. Overall this is a good stand for the price. It's definitely on par with the $40-$50 branded stand I have at work.
