Review on Daiso Detergent: Highly Effective Cleaning for Markup Puff and Sponge (80ml) by Denise Aramori

My cute #56 Sephora brush is completely covered in Benefit BB Cream Powder Liquid (which literally turns into a dusty paste when it hits the center of the brush). It was almost impossible to clean because every brush cleaner I used only removed the stuff from the outer parts. overpriced Sephora brush cleaners. I put a few drops of it in a small glass and diluted it with water. After my brush was in it for about 30 seconds, the water completely took on the color of the base. I soaked the brush in a different cleanser until the water ran clear, so I was very impressed with how much makeup residue came out of the brush. My brush was almost completely white when I washed it off and even the inside of the middle part of the brush was completely clean. There was no trace of cream or powder on the brush and it looked almost new. The only part that still looked like makeup was on was oddly at the very end of the brush, but it didn't feel like there was any actual product left, just the color had discolored. I could probably make the brush whiter if I soaked it more, but I'm hesitant to test this on any of my good brushes. Also, I'm a little worried about what chemicals are in it to make it so clean.
