Review on πŸ”¨ Nordic Forge Lb Rounding Hammer: Exceptional Precision and Durability for Expert Metalworkers by John Larsen

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good head, loose grip

Hammer head weight is good. And once the edges are rounded and polished, the rounded side does a great job of moving the metal and the flat side does what was intended. Bad: The handle came off with a few hits. And after a few days of use, the head flew off. This is a blacksmith's hammer, not a finishing hammer, and more work had to be done to match the handle to the head. Bottom line: if you want the head to be well polished so it works well and don't mind replacing the grip, the price is nice. If you expect to be able to get the metal out of the box safely, you MIGHT be out of luck. Not sure if this is common, or did I just get a green handle that shrunk after installation? If there was more meat on the handle I would just reinstall it but the way the neck of the handle falls under the head would require purchase and installation. new handle.
