I've been using screen protectors for phones and tablets for years and was never satisfied until I found these Supershieldz. Before the first problem was installation, I could never get it right - either misalignment or air/dust bubbles trapped under the screen. The second problem is that they scratch or fade over time, which means that if you switch profiles you'll have to deal with problem 1 again, but not these. The installation system they developed is practically reliable. You still need to be careful, read the instructions and watch the installation video. But then it just works. I have now made several phones and tablets with no problems. When used, they last a long time, scratches appear for a long time, and then only a few small ones. However, if you drop your phone frequently (I do), the edges of the corners become rough. Not pretty, but I think they do their job of protecting my phone. That's why I use a screen protector.
