We love these lights!

We put 4 of these in our remodeled kitchen, which was big on space but low on light. They are incredibly bright - some say overpoweringly so - but my wife and I love it. We got the remote, so we can change color temperature or switch to dimmer brightness without having to pull the lights out of the ceiling to throw a toggle. The remote allows for separately addressing the lights, but you can't seem to do that while all 4 are connected to your power. We had hoped to be able to have 3, 2, or only 1 on with the remote, but we would have to basically disassemble the installed lights and go through a complicated re-install procedure to make that happen. Yuk. Also, when you turn out the lights, the remote setting is lost - the lights always come back to a default setting instead of the last color and brightness that was on. Disappointing. The remote implementation is weak, but most lights require you to go into the light box (basically pull your installed lights out of the ceiling) to change color or brightness - we can do it at the push of a button. So it is a plus, but not as nice as it could be.Note that "dim" is limited to 4 settings - 25%, 50%, 75% or full - you can't put these on a wall sliding dimmer. That was clear to us going in to the purchase and this 'works' for us.Overall the pros outweigh the cons for us. We're very happy with the lights, and moderately happy with the remote we bought with them.
