UPDATE: Below is my first review. I originally gave this saw one star. But they sent me a new and updated saw. For a new saw I put a four. After I wrote that first review, the company contacted me and sent me a new and much improved saw. This was of my own choice and without my request. Obviously they saw that I was unhappy with my purchase and went out of their way to fix it. I was contacted via email by their after sales team and was told they were sorry that I was not satisfied and would send me a new and improved saw free of charge. I received a new saw and it is exactly as described. Where the old one had a simple roll pin to hold the latch in place there is now a rivet. The brand of the saw is also different (new - Rexbeti) but the saw is exactly the same except for the necessary upgrade. The latch is now very positive and will not let go or fall off. It securely holds the saw blade where it needs to be until I unlock it to fold it. I have had no problems with this new saw and would recommend it to anyone who needs this type of saw. It cuts very well and is fast on everything I've used so far. Four stars. The saw arrived on time and well packaged, but in pieces. It seems to me that this was the one that was sent back and then resold to me. Either that or the manufacturer should be ashamed to send a brand new saw like the one I received. The bolt came loose from the handle and was badly scratched. There were no documents in the box that usually comes with a new product. The roll pin and spring that secure and actuate the latch were loosened in the box. I assembled the saw hoping it would be serviceable but the latch kept falling off rendering the saw inoperable. The saw blade itself fitted the handle of an old, different brand saw I had and that is the only reason I didn't send it back. I threw the handle and useless latch in the trash. It seems to me that this saw was previously sold and then returned but no one has bothered to check it or do anything other than re-tag it and send it to me. I hate making myself feel like an idiot and I don't appreciate it when this company takes advantage of my trust. I say the saw did not match the seller's description because it was advertised as a new, powerful saw that can do real work; Which in my case was complete nonsense.
