This charger fits on my bedside table and I can plug it in instead of leaving it on the floor like the original because the cord was too short. No problems installing the Fitbit into the charger. I'm not sure who the genius was that designed the charger that originally came with the Fitbit, but it's about as inconvenient as a charger can be. Even if you're hesitant, it's a lot better than the original and the price is right. I would be happy to recommend it.
