Review on 🧵 Harvey PTFE Thread - 017065 Line by Michael Welborn

I needed to replace the gas solenoid valve on my Coachmen Capri trailer. I also replaced the regulator and hoses. This tape worked great on fittings that required tape. I've read that gas line tape is thicker and made specifically for gas lines. This product seemed to have good reviews. I have not used it for flare fittings, but I have used it for straight threaded gas line connections (manifold hose to regulator, gas line inlet to gas valve and gas valve outlet. Flexible hose connections to regulator are flare fittings and do not require about four wraps of this tape per Thread wrapped, making sure to leave at least a few threads untaped near the connection. This product works great. The bladder test showed no leaks and my nose doesn't smell like tracers either.
