I bought this monitor to work from home - email, spreadsheets, video conferencing, etc. I really wanted to like it - and I did - until it stopped working properly. The first monitor was bought in February. It took me less than 5 minutes to connect it to my laptop via an HDMI cable and I was good to go. Around mid-June, the screen started "flashing" every few minutes, ie it went black and I lost audio and video connections for about 10 seconds and then just turned back on. Super annoying! I tried updating my drivers with a new HDMI cable - nothing. I connected my laptop to an old 27 inch monitor and it worked like clockwork. I contacted Samsung (that pain is a separate issue) to see if they have any advice. They just let me know it was under warranty so I could box it up and send it to them. I returned the original monitor in early July and replaced it with the exact same model. The new one lasted a month before the "blinking" started again. Serious? It will be packed and sent back this weekend. Samsung monitors will not get a third chance.
