    Great monitor - my new review

    The extra desktop space is great. Its height is 1440 pixels, so if you're coming from a 1050 pixel or 1080 pixel monitor, the text will be smaller. However, you can fix this when scaling. The monitor is about 2 feet from my face and the small text on the very edges is really small. Now I understand why there are curved monitors. It's ok, any monitor larger than 34 inches, I think a curved monitor would be the best choice.

    Think twice before buying a slim ultrawide monitor.

    I bought this monitor to replace two regular monitors because I was tired of dealing with two monitors. My eyesight isn't what it used to be. Specifically, I don't need glasses to see the monitor directly in front of me, but because this monitor is so wide, I can't see the left and right sides of the screen clearly. I have to shake my head left and right to see these edges. When I had two monitors, they were angled so I could see both clearly. I am returning this monitor and am getting a curved

    Great monitor: my review

    I hoped I got a good one

    was all I wanted for the price as VA monitors tend to have a dark spot at higher frequencies. Dropped the monitor intermittently for 1 week and after looking at other reviews I had a feeling it wasn't going to get any better. Without risking the Samsung warranty I returned and I have a feeling it could be a power cord issue.

    I bought this monitor to work from home - email, spreadsheets, video conferencing, etc. I really wanted to like it - and I did - until it stopped working properly.     Can't control it without video signal.

    This is a great monitor that I expect won't last long. When I turn off my laptop, the monitor turns on and looks for input, then turns off every few seconds. I can't use the monitor control to turn it off without turning the laptop back on.
