I bought this widescreen monitor on the advice of my smarter daughter who has a similar setup on her work computer. I've been thinking about a second 24 inch monitor to match the one I already had in my 3 year old HP Windows 10 laptop. She suggested that this 34-inch monitor would be a better alternative because of the screen real estate. Efficiency (fewer bezels) and fewer cables running through my desk. $260 from Costco on Cyber Monday is also cheaper than two separate 24-inch monitors. It took a few days to get used to managing windows and tabs on one big screen instead of multiple screens. But now I find it softer. and it's faster to navigate windows and tabs than moving the cursor across screens. The 3440 x 1400 resolution delivers crisp images, while the 75Hz refresh rate allows for fast image reloads. Comes with not one but two HDMI cables; I'm not sure what the second one is for or what the difference between them is. Maybe Samsung will answer that question when they see this review. Definitely recommend this monitor!
