I am very disappointed in this product! Bought this for a friend who has a problem with neighbors upstairs throwing cigarette butts through the cracks in their patio floor. Cigarette butts often landed on my friends' patio furniture and burned holes in some of their seat cushions on several occasions. After changing the pillows I decided to buy this blanket and attach it to my friends patio blanket which is their neighbors floor. We needed something that wouldn't burn if another cigarette butt fell through the ceiling. After spending a painstaking time installing this rug due to product complaints, we were confident that your furniture would now be safe, so we picked up an outdoor rug to liven up the patio a bit. I took the time to trim the rug so it would be perfect for the patio. I also pinned it to make sure it never moves. Wasted time again! The other day my friend woke up to find a burnt hole in the comforter AND a hole in the NEW carpet that had JUST been installed! I've attached photos of both! My only reason for buying this product was to project my friends property. Applications for this product suggest it can be used as a sweat blanket! I can't imagine how that's possible when he can't even stand a cigarette! I am VERY disappointed that I had to mount it on the patio ceiling. And I am EXTREMELY disappointed that property damage resulted from trusting the claims of this product!
