Review on 🚿 Moen 26100 Engage Magnetix Handheld Showerhead: Chrome, Magnetic Docking, 6 Functions - Review, Features, and Benefits by Alexis Queen

This showerhead replaced a Waterpik that had a cracked plastic mount. It was pretty easy to install, although I had to do it twice. I used 3 turns of tape to seal the threads on the shower holder threads. When I first installed a new Moen shower head, it leaked a bit from the connection to the shower head. So I removed the hose and shower head from the magnet dock and unscrewed the magnet dock from the shower holder. I noticed that the washer in the magnet dock was kind of crooked and not sitting flush. So I pressed it down and made sure it fit evenly around the perimeter. I screwed it back onto the shower arm without replacing the thread sealing tape that was originally attached. I tightened it (manually much tighter than originally) and put the hose/shower head back on. NO LEAK! I think the magnetic dock will be more durable than the plastic Waterpik mount - we take the shower head off daily so I think the magnetic dock will last longer.
