Yes, this is a later released version of the GT 1030 that uses DDR4 (standard RAM) instead of GDDR5 (graphics RAM). This greatly reduces memory bandwidth. But if, like me, you're just using the card for web browsing and watching DVDs, Blu-rays, and re-encoded videos (e.g. homemade mp4 videos via Handbrake), then you're fine. . I also appreciate the fact that this card has a 20W TDP as opposed to the 30W TDP of GDDR5 based cards as I am using it in an older Dell Athlon II box with a smaller power supply.
