Best phone mount I have ever used and I have used/bought others (some are much more expensive). Extremely easy to install. Just remove the case; Place a large metal plate between the case and the phone. Put the magnet holder in the car and put the phone on the magnet holder. I have an Otter Box case on my iPhone 6 and when I first opened the item box I was skeptical that the magnetic mount would be able to hold the phone (large metal plate) through the Otter Box case. are you kidding? The magnet is very strong. All I have to do is place the phone near the magnet base again and I can feel the magnet pulling the phone towards it. The phone does not move after being placed on the magnetic base. I tested it by driving several speed bumps, the phone does NOT move. I will probably buy two more for my daughters. GOOD PRODUCT. I highly recommend it. **UPDATE** I swapped out my phone case for a Trianium battery case which made the iPhone a bit heavier and I was worried the magnet wouldn't hold the phone. Instead of putting a metal plate inside the case, this time I glued the small round metal adhesive plate that comes with the bracket to the outside of the case. This combination works even better and holds tighter as there is nothing between the metal plate and the case/phone. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this phone holder!
