My cat loves this horizontal scratcher and it gives us humans a smile and laugh every time she gets after it with her claws or falls asleep flung across her "fainting couch." It seems to be wearing down faster than her last cardboard scratcher, but the humor is worth the extra cost of replacing it sooner.
