Review on Dorman 970 095 Passenger Harness Chevrolet by Mariqn Carey

You can change them yourself!”

I recently replaced the front brake discs and pads on my 2005 Colorado truck. After replacing the second set and turning the truck on, the ABS light came on. Long story short I damaged the old one by removing the necessary hub assembly and also the one needed to replace the wheel sensors. I noticed that the old sensor didn't fit on the hub like it was supposed to. But he didn't want to risk the old one and removed it from the hub. This new sensor came with some limited instructions so I only gave it 4 stars. Lubricant came with the sensor but there is no description of its use? (Apply a thin coat to the hub to aid in sensor installation.) The instructions say to use a press to reinstall the new sensor onto the hub assembly. Not my recommendation, the sensors are a pretty flimsy metal mill. And if the sensor starts to move along the hub, you could seriously damage it. We used a block of wood and a "small hammer" (with some lube). Gently tap side to side and see which side goes down the fastest. SUFFER! The new sensor works fine.
