This coffee maker has completely changed my life for many reasons: 1. Instead of spending 20 minutes making coffee - I used to use a French press, I had to wait for the water boiled, set the coffee grounds down and then let them cool down a bit – literally takes me a minute. Minute to make coffee in the morning, I just need to open the fridge and pour myself a glass of good and cold coffee.2. Less Utensils: I used to have to wash my French Press every day, but now I only have to wash it once or twice a week when I run out of iced coffee.3. My iced coffee is now much easier to make and tastes much better. I used to have to brew coffee, wait for it to cool, add lots of ice, and it just tasted good. This cold drink doesn't even require me to add ice, so I prefer this more concentrated coffee.4. Cold coffee is much healthier than brewing it with boiling water. The coffee definitely seems less sour and a little sweeter to me. If I want warm coffee, I just pour cold coffee into a mug and pop it in the microwave. Tastes just as good as any other coffee + even less acid than other coffees. The only downside to this cold brew is that when I use store-bought ground coffee, some of the coffee grounds go through the filter. I've read a lot of reviews about it, but this is a good reason to start grinding your own coffee, which actually improves the coffee's taste and freshness.
