They definitely do the job (get it? Because they serve as trays?), but honestly, they're not the best quality. Are they doing their jobs? Most of time. But there are absolutely no details, and this needs to be pointed out. Let's start by saying that the color we have chosen is good. However, you may find that this is not something they have spent time on. Due to its construction, the large one wobbles very little, which is definitely not my favorite feature. They both sit right on the table. So if you don't put your feet on it, they will most likely scratch your table when you move them. They have to be durable (like breakfast in bed) because you don't want that catastrophe. The stain looks good at first glance, but if you look a little closer (or put a drink down, it condenses off). They have NOT applied ANY finish, so any liquid will be immediately absorbed by the wood. We haven't had any discoloration or EXTRA warpage, but we haven't left things there for long either. I'm sure it will happen soon. I think that's because I still like the look and we don't use them for anything other than storing remotes and stands and such, but if you're expecting expensive stuff you'll need to look elsewhere.
