This set contains everything you need to get started with leatherworking, but includes many tools that a beginner will not use right away. It's better to invest in good quality chisels, a good hammer, and a good skewer than to buy lots of equipment that you won't necessarily use. It's better to invest in quality products over time than to buy lots of tools that you'll need to quickly replace once they're on the market. This is a good starter kit, but I didn't use most of the tools that came with it.
