Review on Cutting-Edge Waterproof Daylight Appliance: The Refrigerator Equivalent by Matt Hamilton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Saves a TON of energy/cold light, but not bad

We have an application that measures energy consumption in real time. In our fridge, the old 40-watt lightbulbs used about 75-80 watts every time someone opened the door. After I replaced them with these two new bulbs, the meter barely moved when I opened the door - maybe 4-6 watts. This will likely save you a lot of money over the course of their lifetime. They're LEDs, so they're a lot cooler/bluer than our old incandescent bulbs, but they're not irritating to the eyes like some of the newer Christmas lights. And I worry less since they are only used when the fridge is open. Very happy with less power consumption, they are nice and bright, illuminating the whole fridge. Highly recommend if you want to save some money.

Pros
  • High quality: no flicker, no buzz and no mercury, excellent heat dissipation. E26 LED bulbs are less toxic than fluorescent bulbs, protect your home and protect the environment.
Cons
  • Crumpled
