New door latch appears to be of good quality. Unfortunately, the mounting screws do not meet the requirements. Screws are of lower quality as they can be removed with a screwdriver. FYI, it is not recommended to use a drill. Screw heads are soft. I went to the hardware store and bought some stainless steel hex head screws. That's what this product needs. Quality latches - bad screws Updated 6/10/21 Latches - scrap. The woman used the key to lock it while she was in the shower. After that I wanted to open the latch and the red switch just turned. Thank goodness I keep my tools inside otherwise I would get stuck. The pin that the red latch is attached to is cast metal. Fragile and not worth the quality. So don't stand still until we get to North Carolina. Beware of terrible design and poor quality on 6/26/21. The manufacturer contacted me and offered a replacement or refund. I received a refund when I bought a Bauer lock.
