Works great and I love the Alexa integration!

I was a little concerned that this fan controller would not work with my master bedroom ceiling fan based on the little information I could find online about this product, but I was able to install it myself and it works great with my fan. My current fan is controlled by two wall switches, one for the light and one for the fan. The fan itself has separate circuits for light and fan that are always on and on. After installing this Cync switch by just replacing the switch that controls the fan, I now have 4 speed options (as opposed to just 3 on the fan) and I can control the fan from anywhere using Alexa or the Cync control app. The installation process was pretty easy. However, I have found that the thickness of the plastic casing around the switch is thicker than the metal brackets on my existing switches. As a result, reinstalling my existing wall plate onto this switch doesn't quite fit as I had hoped. I could bury the switch in the wall a bit, but I didn't want to do that today. Perhaps modern wall panels are more forgiving than those of 20 years ago. Installing and configuring Cync with the Switch was very easy and I had no trouble connecting the Switch to the Alexa app. You'll need to create a new account in the Cync app (if you don't already have one) and enable the Cync skill in Alexa, but the Cync app is great at helping you through the whole process. The switch requires a 2.4GHz WiFi connection to connect to your home network. My switch needed a software update which took about 2-3 minutes. Also, there is a small tab at the bottom of the switch that you can pull to turn off the switch and fan. This would be useful to clear the fan or reset the switch in case there are problems with the WiFi or the switch. Overall I'm happy with this switch so far. I tend to use this switch during the warmer months when I want the fan to run faster for a few hours in the evening and then slow down in the morning when the house is cooler. Setting up the process to do this automatically is possible via Alexa.

Cons
