Review on Tripp Lite Monitors Displays DWM3770X by Justin Guldin

Ideal if you have little experience

This mount is well designed and made. I was glad to be able to buy from an American company. The installation instructions are clear, but not as specific as they could be. This is not a problem if you have some handwork experience. For example, the instructions say to drill pilot holes, but don't specify what size drill bit to use. This isn't hard to figure out unless you may have done several of these projects. The mount is flat and the TV sits very close to the wall, especially from below if you use a slight tilt. Larger TVs are likely to be closer to the floor for a given downward tilt. 70 inches is the max for the mount I received. This makes the TV look great. There are screws on the underside of the brackets that need to be tightened after the TV is hung on the bracket. They prevent the bottom of the TV from swinging away from the wall and "lock" the TV to the mount. I couldn't get to the screws without a 12" Phillips screwdriver, which I bought for $9.

Pros
  • TV accessory
Cons
  • Very expensive
