This micro filter works too well. I put one in my Penguin Pro 375 and the problem is that it's the first thing the water hits when it hits the filter. It actually goes in, then flows out and into the area behind the stock filter cartridges. So the blue filters won't do much as they capture and clog everything. So I went back to the media bin and put more ceramic media in it. But then the idea hit me, I installed a second Penguin Pro 375 as a polisher. Insert a micron filter. Place the foam pre-filter at the inlet and place two reusable media cartridges in the very fine polyester filter media and run at minimal flow. No bio bikes. In fact, it's a super polisher. That works great. Edit 5/8/20 (4 days later) - Yes, I was right. Works so well it shuts down completely after four days. I noticed that the water consumption is almost zero. Pulled out the micron filter and it basically stopped water. I will clean and reinstall it according to the instructions.
