Melon advertises this hat as their deepest, but it landed a solid inch above my ears, which is a deal breaker. My fitted hat size is 7.5”, so my head isn’t enormous, but this "deep”hat didn’t even come close to being deep enough. I love everything else about the hat and really wanted this to be worth the VERY steep price, and it seems like it would be if the crown was high enough, but it simply does not fit as advertised. If your head isn’t as tall as mine, you’ll probably be fine, but if you’ve ever struggled with hats being too shallow, look elsewhere.
