These pads are great. I polished all my cars with it. Depending on the nature of the surface to be polished, you can choose between several grits. Wool is great for cutting paint, but not for buffing. The black pad cleaned up the floor very well after cutting. I used Meguire's Ultimate and Heavy Cut Compound and a Port Freight Buffer. All in all, I've made my cars look like new again without spending a penny over $100. If you want showroom quality and don't want to go broke, I recommend these pads. ***These pads are not designed for high speeds (3,000+rpm). you will tear.
