I bought these because I thought they were great value for money and had amazing reviews, but they contain DEHP, a chemical that can cause cancer, so I'm not sure if I want to use them. She. After some additional research it turned out that DEHP does not absorb well through the skin, so I think they will work for my use. I only plan on using them to hold the emla cream (lidocaine/prilocaine cream) over my port before accessing it. I don't think I would use them on a cut or open wound which is a little disappointing as I'm allergic to plastic and paper bands and was hoping to use them if I had a cut or sore and also over my port.
